Since dates during wedding season book fast, it is important to book as soon as you can. I typically book between 9 months to a year in advance. Since I can only photograph one wedding per day, and typically aim to only do one wedding per weekend, the sooner you get in touch, the better.

A non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total price is required to secure your date. The remaining balance  is split into two payments, the first of which due 90 days before your wedding and the final payment due 30 days before your wedding.

All of my wedding photography packages include an engagement session, which can be done anytime leading up to your wedding. We can take your engagement photos right after we book your wedding, or we could wait for a different season, if there’s a specific look you envision. We’ll start discussing a date for your session when you book your wedding.

This will depend on what look and feel you would like for your photos. We are very lucky that the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area provides us with so many beautiful and unique backdrops. We can go for a more urban vibe or a more nature feel, or a combination of the two. If you have a location in mind that you love or is extra special to the two of you, I’m sure we can make it work, or if you have no idea, I can certainly suggest a variety of great locations. The best location for your session will also depend on the season you decide on – some spots look better than others when cover in snow or fall leaves, etc.

Wear what you feel comfortable in. You are also welcome to bring more than one outfit if you’d like to get more than one look for your photos. When deciding on your outfits, try to avoid matchy matchy (white t-shirts and jeans for example) – often contrasting colors can look great! I have also put together a Pinterest board with some outfit ideas, in case you’d like some inspiration.

I understand how impatient and excited you will be to see the photos from your big day. Even during the busiest time of year, I will have a sneak peek from your wedding up on Facebook and Instagram within one week of your wedding. Then within three or four weeks of your wedding, I’ll create a blog post of some of my favorite finished images, typically 15-25, that I will share on my Facebook page, as well. Within 6 weeks of your wedding, I will send you a link to your online proofing gallery. As I work on your photos, I’ll keep adding to the proofing gallery. All of your photos will be finished within 12 weeks of your wedding, if not earlier, and once you approve the images in your proofing gallery, I will ship your final images on your custom usb.

Your images will all receive color/white balance correction, contrast, lens correction, and cropping/straightening to get them ready for print. I will also put my own artistic and creative touches on the photos. I will also retouch blemishes that I notice, though if there is something specific that you would like touched up that I may not notice or automatically assume you want touched up (scars, moles, etc), please notify me. I will do occasional face swaps, as well, as posed family photos, especially with little ones, sometimes require it.

As I also mentioned above, all of your photos will be finished within 12 weeks of your wedding, though I do aim for earlier, and once you approve the images in your proofing gallery, I will ship your final images on your custom usb.

It makes me so happy when my clients love their wedding photos and are excited to share them with their friends and family on social media. If you decide to share them, I do request that you credit Trisha Bruininks Photography when doing so.

A couple of my packages already come with a custom photobook included, and you and/or any of your family and friends are welcome to order additional product from me, though you are not obligated to purchase anything beyond your original package. I utilize a few high end, professional photo labs so I can offer my clients the best in prints, photobooks, albums, canvases, metal prints, and more. You will be able to view some samples I have to give you an idea of the look and quality before placing an order.

The process is quite simple – depending on what size of book your package comes with or you decide to add, I will have you send me a certain number of photos (I give you a range to make it easiest on you) then I will design your photobook with those photos. Once I have your approval for the layout, I’ll send it off to print. The printing and shipping of your photobooks and any other products you order can take up to 6-8 weeks, but I promise they’ll be worth the wait!

Cash, checks, major credit cards and Paypal.
